Cabin Rentals & Horsemanship Clinics
Multi-Week Ranch Training Sessions
Less than an hour from Cody, Wyoming, Working Guest Ranch Vacations give participants from around the world an opportunity to really enjoy horses and riding regardless of your age, background or horseback riding experience. Working Guest ranch vacations may last one to three weeks between March and September and may be extended weekly. What distinguishes your Working Guest Ranch Vacation is the focus on horses, riding, and experiencing livestock in the ranch setting. Our full-immersion, hands-on ranch experience is not a “Dude Ranch Vacation” with fancy amenities.
Typical Ranch Days
Typical ranch days may include long and short trail rides, wrangling the horses from pasture before the morning rides, rounding up cows and team penning in the arena. Try your horse at barrel racing. Stay overnight at cow camp and cook out around the campfire. Sleep under star-filled Wyoming night skies. Observe our work with foals and horses to see how our natural horsemanship training methods shape the great horses you ride during your stay,
We work with you to schedule off-ranch activities to round out your special Wyoming experience. Enjoy the Cody Nite Rodeo, a soak at the hot springs, an overnight trip to Yellowstone National Park and other opportunities unique to Wyoming! Take it all in during your stay! (Off-ranch activities are not included in the price.)
When to Come
Spring Sessions are significantly discounted due to the variability of Wyoming spring weather. These sessions provide a great opportunity for people on a tight budget to get hands-on experience with horses and cattle, as well as enjoy off-ranch activities in Cody, Thermopolis, and Yellowstone. Spring Session participants benefit from the same extended stay discounts are Summer and Fall Session participants.
