Trail Riding Vacation Cabins and Lodge Facilities
Looking for a Western trail riding vacation? Consider a working ranch Internship with rustic cabin accommodations, a cozy Lodge and home-cooked meals. More than a trail riding vacation, enjoy a full-immersion, hands-on working ranch experience at an affordable price. On your trail riding vacation you will feel at home in comfy, rustic cabins and a Lodge accessible 24/7. And you will appreciate our emphasis on horsemanship – ride trails, imprint foals, do groundwork with colts, wrangle horses, round up cows, team pen! Former Interns’ testimonials on Facebook and our website attest to the life-changing experience. Regardless of their backgrounds and riding levels, Interns return home more confident and with new skills.
Your cabin is your home away from home! The Lodge, which is accessible 24/7, is where you’ll savor home-cooked meals planned to satisfy your dietary preference (including vegetarian, food allergies and so on). Enjoy access to the kitchen, dining area, laundry and a roomy sitting area to relax on log furniture around the wood stove on cool nights and mornings.
Local off-ranch activities include the Cody Nite Rodeo, White Water Rafting, Floating the Big Horn River, soaking at the Hot Springs in Thermopolis, Fishing and an overnight trip to the world famous Yellowstone National Park, all of which we’ll help you schedule around your on-ranch experience to round out the perfect Western adventure!
Individual travelers are welcome! No specific background or experience is necessary, just a passion for horses, cows, or ranching, a desire to build on what you know, self-motivation, knowing your goals and a sense of adventure! So, if you are looking for a trail riding vacation, consider a HorseWorks Wyoming Internship for a week, two, three, or more! Return often under our Ranch Family plan!
