Real Working Ranch Prices Include

Start your real working ranch Internship off with a thorough orientation to ranch and horse safety, policies and procedures.  Then, you are introduced to great horses and carefully matched with a horse appropriate to your riding ability and goals.  Homecooked meals and lots of them energize you for the next activity.  Enjoy adorable rustic cabin accommodations for 2-4 people and access to the Lodge with showers, laundry, kitchen and dining facilities and log-furnished Great Room available 24/7.   Round-trip transportation is provided by local shuttle service between Cody airport (COD) and the ranch on the scheduled start and end days of your session.

Pay for week 1, add a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th week for $500/week, and a 5th week or longer (by invitation) for just $250/week.  See Returning Wrangler Intern Pricing below.

Off-Ranch Activities (not included in pricing)

Off-ranch activities may include a visit to the Hot Springs in Thermopolis, White Water Rafting or Floating the River, a shopping trip and dinner in Cody before the Cody Nite Rodeo and more.  A manditory weekend trip to Yellowstone (approximately $150-$200) is included in the itinerary, but not in the price.   To round out your real working ranch Internship and thoroughly enjoy the off-ranch opportunities Wyoming has to offer, we recommend you budget to bring $400-$500 for off-ranch activities, including the overnight trip to Yellowstone National Park, pocket money for other off-ranch activities and meals in town, particularly if you are staying three weeks or longer.  Note: Participants wishing to take additional off-ranch excursions should plan to rent a car.

Airport Transfer Charges

Airport transfer is provided by local shuttle from Cody, WY to the ranch round trip on the scheduled first and last days of the session are included in the Internship fee.  Arrivals or departures on other days or for stays shorter than one week are $35 per person/each way.

Returning Ranch Wrangler Intern Programs & Discounts

Working Ranch Wrangler Internships and Working Ranch Vacations may be extended weekly and discounts are applied cumulatively over years, with generous returning Intern discounts, discounts for referrals and Interns attending Pat Wyse Horsemanship Clinics in Townsend, MT, and credits for horse board and purchases.  Affordably extend your Internship in order to participate in our 12- Part Horse Training and Wrangler Certification Programs, or to find the ultimate Wyoming souvenir - your perfect horse partner to purchase and take home.  Ranch Wrangler Intern Weeks are cumulative over years, so come for 3 weeks the first year; the next year, your first three weeks will be your 4th, 5th and 6th weeks in terms of pricing.

Reservations

Reservations are held only after receipt of non-refundable deposits.  

Payment Options

Credit Card Authorization Form , wire transfer, personal check (US residents), Paypal or money order. Payment in full is due at least 60 days prior to your arrival unless payment plans are arranged in advance. Payments are non-refundable after 60 days prior to your trip, but may be transferable to another party or another session.

No refunds once trip has started.
