Spring Break Specials

Off-ranch activities NOT included.
Interns should budget to bring an additional $250 - $500 pocket money for scheduled off-ranch activities and meals in town.

2018 prices include: orientation to ranch and horse safety, policies and procedures; great horses; meals and lots of them; cabin accommodations; 24/7 access to the Lodge, showers, laundry and kitchen, round-trip transportation by local shuttle service between Cody and the ranch at the beginning and end of your trip.*

Note: Participants wishing to take additional off-ranch excursions should plan to rent a car.

Off-ranch activities not included (approximately $200 value) may include such activities as a visit to the Hot Springs in Thermopolis, White Water Rafting or Floating the River, shopping trip and dinner in Cody and a visit to the Cody Nite Rodeo.   A weekend trip to Yellowstone is included in the itinerary, but not in the price, so interns need to bring an additional $150-200 for this mandatory trip and pocket money for other off-ranch activities and meals in town.  Therefore, we recommend budgeting to bring $400-$500 for off-ranch activities, particularly if you are staying three weeks or longer.

* Airport transfer is $35 per person/each way for bookings shorter than a one-week Session or arrival/departure dates other than scheduled Session start/end dates.

Ranch Internships may be extended weekly.

To complete your Internship, add 4th Week for $500, 5th Week $250.  Additional weeks by Invitation Only: $250 per week.  Add a Week may be used by Returning Interns the following summer!

RESERVATIONS are held only after receipt of non-refundable deposits. Deposits and payments may be made by Paypal, credit card by phone, personal check, wire transfer to our account, or money order. Payment in full is due at least sixty days prior to your arrival. Payments are non-refundable after sixty days prior to your trip, but may be transferable to another party or another session.  No refunds once trip has started.  (See Emergency Cases below.)
